When a story features a brilliant professor who says "anyways," I have to stop reading. That word is one of my hot buttons for some reason. It makes characters sound a little on the dumb side in my opinion, and while I can kind of forgive the college student (although
she said it too much as well), I had to quit when the billionaire teacher used it. Might be just me, maybe other people can get past that kind of thing. (I might be a grammar/spelling snob?) I only write this so others will know why I put it on my dnf shelf.
