Ruin - Clarissa Wild I purchased my own copy of this book, and this review is written freely.

It's rare that I reach out to an author I don't normally speak to, but I was moved to email Clarissa Wild after reading this book. My life was irrevocably altered by a leg injury in high school, so the story resonated with me deeply. To learn that the book was based on real-life events was utterly moving.

The underlying theme of this tale is strength through adversity, at least from my perspective, and inspiring in it's message. Two lost souls finding in each other exactly what they need to survive and thrive. It's a rare thing - not just in real life, but in the written word as well.

I loved this book, and I heartily endorse it with 4.5 stars.
